November Thanksgivings- Day 4

I am thankful for my mom and dad today. I mean I wouldn't be here without them right? But seriously, I couldn't have asked for better parents growing up. They worked hard every day to give me what ever I needed. Each did their best while providing love and security. I think that's what is the most important.

My mom and I have always been likethis (she even gloats about how people often confuse her for my older sister). Even my friends called her mom. She has been my best friend, my confidant and I don't know what I would do without her. Her daily life shows what a giving, selfless person she is. I only hope I can be half the mom she is for Emma.


My dad is stupendous. I'm sorry for all the turmoil I caused him as a teenager. It was hard for him to relate to me as I single father I'm sure. Yet we made it through and I am certainly a daddy's girl today. I look back on all the memories I have made with my grandfathers and pray that Emma will be able to make some of those herself someday.
