Each day consisted of:
Going for walks around the campground, raiding the office for candy and racing up and down the hill near our sights on anything with wheels each morning.
After a lunch break I would often try to get Emma to take a "rest" (aka nap). Sometimes it worked and other times she would make it through an entire Disney movie and be ready to head back out and play with her 'fweinds'.
Once we were done eating she would be back on her bike or head to the pool with daddy. She finally figured out how to pedal her tricycle and even tried her hand at a big girl bike with training wheels. We may need to find one for her upcoming birthday or Christmas- she did great once she figured out you can't pedal backwards!
We also spent plenty of time around the campfire at night, roasting marshmallows, relaxing and enjoying life together. It was a great way to end each day!
Overall it was an awesome respite and much needed getaway. The month of August us filling up very quickly for us and it doesn't look like it's going to slow down until September. We had a great time with a wonderful group of people and look forward to it again next year!
